This course of study will cover all fundamentals of professional pet grooming and business operations. Bathing, drying, clipper work, and the art of hand scissoring are among the many skills that will be taught. Anatomy, handling, and behavior will also be reviewed in detail. Skin, coat, diseases, and common relative conditions will be learned in detail.
Canine first aid and general health are among many of the detailed studies included within this program. Breed recognition and breed standards, as well as modified pet maintenance, will be an additional fundamental within the Professional Pet Groomer Program.
Students will also go through resume building and interview programs to give them the best possible chance for getting the job of their dreams.
